1. Who may use the site

SWA GA Pilots is a private community for current and former Southwest Airlines pilots. By creating an account you confirm you are one, that the employee number you register is your own, and that you are at least 18 years old. Membership is on the honor system — this site has no connection to Southwest Airlines systems and never verifies information against them. Accounts that misrepresent eligibility may be removed.

2. Not a briefing or navigation service — fly safe

Nothing on this site is suitable for navigation or operational flight planning. Airport data, runway lengths, frequencies, chart imagery, member strip guides, difficulty ratings, and route calculations are provided for situational awareness and trip inspiration only. They may be incomplete, outdated, or plain wrong. Member-submitted strips are unverified. Backcountry and off-airport operations carry serious risk.

As pilot in command, you are solely responsible for your preflight briefing (NOTAMs, TFRs, weather, current charts and Chart Supplements), obtaining permission for private strips, and every operational decision. Use of anything on this site is at your own risk.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the strips, pins, ads, photos, and notes you post, and you grant the site a license to display them to members. Post only what you have the right to share, keep it accurate and civil, and don't post other people's personal information. We may edit or remove content and suspend accounts to keep the community useful and safe.

4. Classifieds

Classified ads are member-to-member. The site is not a party to, broker of, or guarantor for any transaction, and makes no representation about any aircraft, property, instruction, or item advertised. Do your own diligence (pre-buy inspections, title searches, CFI credentials — all of it).

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how it's used. You can delete your account and all your content anytime from My Account.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from use of the site or reliance on its content — including, without limitation, damages arising from flight operations.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA. We may update these terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. SWA GA Pilots is an independent, member-run community. It is not sponsored, endorsed, approved by, or affiliated with Southwest Airlines Co. in any way. “Southwest,” “SWA,” and any related marks are used solely to describe our members’ employer; all trademarks remain the property of their owners.
